Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)
In 2026, the ICDCMR endorsed the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The ICDCMR has committed to implementing the “Human Resources Strategy for Researchers” (HRS4R), an approach aimed at ensuring the continuous implementation and assessment of the 20 principles of the European Charter for Researchers.
In August 2026, the ICDCMR submitted the documents for the initial phase of the HRS4R process to the European Commission for assessment. These documents include the Gap Analysis, the OTM-R Checklist, the Initial Action Plan, and the Process Description.
The submission of the initial phase documents marks an important step in the implementation of the HRS4R at the ICDCMR and demonstrates the institute’s commitment to aligning its research environment with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and European standards. The ICDCMR is currently awaiting the outcome of the assessment process for the “HR Excellence in Research” Award.
