About us

The Research and Development Institute for Wildlife and Mountain Resources from Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, was established in 2018 as a public research institute under the coordination of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu- Șișești" and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Institute research activities covers the following main domains considered highly relevant for the Romanian context: Wildlife Management, Mountain Resources, Agro-Environment, Biotechnology & Genetics.
